There are over 500 vegan or vegetarian restaurants in Berlin. To help you navigate, we're sharing our top 7 vegan restaurants. The cuisine here is mostly internationally inspired. But we still have to tell you where to eat the best vegan currywurst in Berlin, right?

Curry 61, the best vegan currywurst

Currywurst is the iconic German street food dish! It's simply a sausage with tomato sauce and curry powder or curry ketchup. You can buy currywurst at street kiosks or restaurants.

And it's entirely possible to enjoy it in a vegan version, as it's mainly the sauce that makes a good currywurst!

So we suggest you enjoy it at Curry 61, in the Mitte district. This first address isn't specifically vegetarian or vegan, but it offers a vegan currywurst option and vegan mayonnaise. You can also try the Kartoffelnsalat (potato salad), another classic German dish. And if you love it, you can even bring their curry ketchup as a souvenir to share with your friends!

The atmosphere is really great. There are both locals and tourists, and the restaurant's mural is beautiful!

Open Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, and between 12 pm and 9 pm on Sunday.
Address of Curry 61: Oranienburger Str. 6, 10178 Berlin

Vedang, the future of fast food

It's in the "Mall of Berlin" on Leipziger Platz that the first Vedang opened in 2019. It's a 100% plant-based fast food joint. Burgers, wraps, nuggets... but without meat, of course!

Since then, the concept has expanded to several cities in Germany, and there are now 4 locations in Berlin. Even more opportunities to try the iconic Beyond Smash Burger or the Angry Chick Burger!

Addresses:

  • Vedang Mall of Berlin: Leipziger Pl. 12, 10117 Berlin (Monday to Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm)
  • Vedang Alexa Berlin: Grunerstraße 20 Alexa Foodcourt, 2nd floor, 10179 Berlin (Monday to Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm)
  • Vedang Bikini Berlin (in the food court): Budapester Str. 38-50 Bikini Kantini, 10787 Berlin (Monday to Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm)
  • Vedang - P-Berg: Kastanienallee 3, 10435 Berlin (every day from noon to midnight)

Brammibal’s Donuts, the sweet break

A coffee break or craving a delicious dessert? Here are Brammibal's incredible vegan donuts. The recipes change with the seasons, and there's even a charitable Donut where a portion of the price is donated to an organization. Hot or cold drinks are also available.

There are now 6 locations in Berlin to enjoy them:

Neukölln: Maybachufer 8 Every day from 10 am to 8 pm

KaDeWe: Tauentzienstraße 21-24 (6th floor) Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm and Friday until 9 pm.

Försters, local cuisine in vegan version

The promise of this restaurant: homemade, seasonal, and 100% vegan cuisine. An opportunity to eat, for example, meatless schnitzels. This Austrian dish is a thin breaded escalope.

The menu changes with the seasons, and wines are offered to accompany the dishes.

Quality restaurant. Reservation recommended.

Address of Försters: Dunckerstraße 2A, 10437 Berlin

Feel Seoul Good, Korean vegan restaurant

A journey within the journey! Go from Berlin to Korea by simply stepping into this restaurant. The simple and relaxing decor sets the tone immediately. And on the plate, or rather in the bowl, find all the classics of local cuisine in a vegan version like bibimbap and kimchi.

Open every day from noon to 11 pm
Address of Feel Seoul Good: Husemannstraße 2, 10435 Berlin

Hum Vegan Cuisine, Vietnamese vegan restaurant

Another proposal for a trip, to Vietnam this time! Everything is delicious at Hum Vegan Cuisine, and the staff is very kind. There are soups, noodle or rice dishes, salads, and desserts. There are also classic cocktails and beers if needed!

Open from noon to 11 pm on weekdays and from 1 pm to 11 pm on weekends
Address of Hum Vegan Cuisine: Raumerstrasse 38, Berlin

Lucky Leek, the gourmet

For a special occasion, to treat yourself, to convince someone that vegan cuisine is just as good as traditional cuisine, or simply because it's delicious and that's reason enough, we're adding Lucky Leek to our selection!

It's a gourmet vegan restaurant awarded with a Bib Gourmand by the famous Michelin Guide. You can choose between a 3-course menu for €48, a 4-course menu for €63, or a 5-course menu for €85. The presentations are meticulous, and you can also pair the dishes with wine.
