Because in this time of climate urgency, it's high time to aligning our desires for elsewhere with our values. Our goal: to make tourism low-carbon ACCESSIBLE and inspire new imaginations around travel.

At HOURRAIL! we are convinced that travelling differently is no more complicated, no less exciting. Better still, we think that adventure doesn't begin at our destination, but from the moment we set foot in a train station. What if, instead of choosing the plane or the car out of habit, we explored other possibilities? Travelling differently doesn't mean giving up, it means discovering better!
Our mission: show you that low-carbon alternatives exist and that they can be simple, joyful, responsible and often far richer in discovery.
As our founder pointed out for ADEME : "We'll have succeeded when a landscape photo is more successful on Instagram being taken from inside a train rather than behind the window of an airplane.". In other words, we've got our work cut out for us!
Is it really possible to get to Bangkok by train from France? How can I book a night train to Vienna? How can I save on train fares? Is it really worth it to take an Interrail pass? Let's be honest, some of the things that can stop you from taking the plunge into low-carbon travel include lack of information. And because looking for this information can be as time-consuming as it is discouraging, we wanted to make this medium a real one. your travel companion for to make your life easier (tips, city and country guides, travel tips, itineraries...) and inspire you (with stories that make you want to travel differently)!

HOURRAIL!, in fact both a media company (SAS model), with a permanent team, and a volunteer association. In practice, the media company donates a portion of its sales to the association Les Aventuriers d'HOURRAIL! which brings together dozens of enthusiasts keen to promote low-carbon travel.
