Thanks to the Stockholm-Narvik night train, you can fall asleep in the Swedish capital and wake up the next day in the heart of Lapland. For this itinerary, we recommend a stop in Abisko. This small town lies in the far north of Sweden, on the shores of Lake Tornetrรคsk. With its two railway stations, Abisko รstra and Abisko turiststation ("Abisko tourist resort"), it is one of the best points of access to one of the very first national parks in Sweden and Europe. It is also world-renowned for its aurora borealis viewing!
