“Alright, it’s time to eat. Where are we going?” In any case, it's not in Anglet that you're going to have trouble finding what you're craving; this little town offers a wide choice of places to sit and have a drink, snack or a good bite to eat. Here's our selection:

1. The food court: Les Halles des 5 Cantons- Biltoki

If not Anglet's most popular spot, Les Halles Biltoki Place des 5 Cantons is not far from the title, adored by locals and visitors alike. This food court is home to 27 vendors, providing everything from morning coffee and croissants to fresh produce, meats, cheeses, fish, seafood, fruits, and vegetables. There are also stands open from noon to evening, offering an immense variety of tapas and dishes from around the world, all cooked with market ingredients, of course! This lively place is charming and truly a must-see in the city.

2. Txapel

Looking for the perfect bar to relax after a day of exploring or swimming? Welcome to Txapel, located at the beach of Sables d’Or. This establishment is Anglet's very first cocktail bar, and it never ceases to seduce with its secret and atypical creations for a slightly mysterious evening! Their signature cocktails are best enjoyed with a croque-monsieur or a Basque platter in front of you. For those who don't drink, their mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) are just as good! All in a chic and retro atmosphere just steps from the ocean.

3. La Torref’

Coffee lover or just curious? We've found the place for you, La Torref'. Here, artisan roaster Thomas, carefully selects his beans according to strict environmental and social criteria, to offer a coffee that's as honorable as it is high quality. The menu also includes homemade pastries and other delicacies... will you be tempted? By the way, if you're not a coffee fan at all, there's something for everyone; the home-made tea is renowned for being excellent too.

Nothing makes you feel more like you’re on vacation than a restaurant literally by the sea! Under palm tree-shaped umbrellas, enjoy charcuterie boards, salads, and sandwiches (among other things) with a beautiful beach view. The place is just as ideal for lunch as it is for a relaxing cocktail. What more could you ask for?

Finally, let's introduce you to an atypical place located in... the middle of an equestrian club? Yes, you can enjoy a hearty, delicious meal in front of the horses at the Relais de Chiberta. At any time of day, you can come and enjoy gourmet dishes crafted with seasonal ingredients, local products, and the inspirations of Chef Cindy. To make the most of it, head here for a sunset aperitif, to relax on a deckchair while admiring the orange Basque sky.
