Detailed itinerary

You start off strong with a Inoui TGV to Turin. In just a few hours, you'll go from the rooftops of Paris to the Alps 🏔️, then on to Northern Italy 🇮🇹. No stress, no complicated changes: it's the ideal gateway.

Then you gently descend to the sea 🌊 :

  • Asti → Rapallo: you move from the vineyards 🍇 of Piedmont to the Ligurian coast.
  • Rapallo → Livorno: one of the most beautiful stretches along the Mediterranean 🏖️

Then you branch off into Tuscany and central Italy:

  • Livorno → Lucca: a short break in a town on a human scale, perfect in summer 🌞
  • Lucca → Ferrara: Renaissance atmosphere, away from the crowds.

You then head north, between elegant cities and urban energy:

  • Ferrara → Padua
  • Padua → Brescia
  • Brescia → Milan

And finally, a quick and easy return to Paris from Milan.

Why this loop works perfectly

  • Zero cars everything is accessible by express or regional train.
  • Few stressful connections short, logical routes.
  • Less crowds Avoid saturated hotspots such as Cinque Terre or central Florence.
  • Quite varied alternating between the sea, medium-sized towns and large cities.
The trip lasts 10 days and includes 9 steps, with a minimum budget of 49 euros.
