To get to Roquemaure (the starting point of the section of the GR42 we tested for you) from Avignon, you can take the bus (line 122 or 26, about 30 minutes) or the bike (about an hour).
Welcome to Roquemaure, between vineyards, wine cellars and charming historic streets! On this stretch, we recommend a stopover on the Ile de Miémart (perfect for a picnic break), or a stopover in the charming village of Pujaut, a little haven of peace nestled in the heart of the Guarrigue, which we've written about here. And for a gourmet break, we recommend a visit to Pujaut's Bar du marché!
Good to know : also available by bus!
