Most trains arrive at Avignon TGV station located around 6 km from the city center. A direct TGV train from Paris takes an average of 2h35 to 3h, making it one of the fastest ways to reach Provence from the capital. Several operators operate on this line, including TGV INOUI and OUIGO with some twenty trains a day and staggered departures from morning to night.
